Biography:

Raised in western Pennsylvania but having lived in the intermountain West for the past thirteen years, Jason Randolph Napoleon Monteleone, a Boise attorney, graduated from Dickinson College with a B.A. in 1991 with degrees in Latin and ancient Greek and thereafter received his J.D. law degree, with honors, from Washburn University School of Law in 1996.  He was also distinguished by his memberships in the Washburn Law Journal and Moot Court Honor Society.  He was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1998, is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Idaho and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is an active member of the American Association for Justice (State Delegate for Idaho (2007-2009)), the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association (member of the Board of Directors since 2000 and Executive Committee since 2009), the American Civil Liberties Union of Idaho (member of the Board of Directors since 1998), and the American Inns of Court.

Currently a partner in the firm of Johnson & Monteleone, L.L.P., in Boise, Idaho, he practices exclusively in the areas of plantiffs' personal injury law and plantiffs' employment law.  With emphasis in litigation, Jason has handled personal injury and wrongful death actions in the areas of motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice.  His concentration in employment law focuses on employees' statutory rights pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the federal False Claims Act, as well as common law remedies.

Jason is also an avid mountain climber, backpacker, fly-fisherman, guitarist, and reader of ancient authors in their original texts.
