Biography:
Attorney Sam Johnson graduated from University of Idaho with a B.S. in 1989 and received his Juris Doctor in 1993. He was admitted to the Idaho and U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho in the same year.
Mr. Johnson is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Fourth and Ninth Circuits. A partner at the Boise law firm of Johnson & Monteleone, L.L.P., he focuses his law practice in the areas of personal injury, employment law, civil litigation, commercial, contractual and property disputes, as well as workers' compensation. Mr Johnson also serves as a member in the Idaho Trial Lawyers' Association, The Idaho State Bar, and the Third and Fourth District Bar Associations.

Biography:
Jason practices exclusively in the areas of plaintiffs' personal injury law, employment law, and whistleblower litigation. Recently named a Mountain States Super Lawyer in Plaintiff Personal Injury Law, he has handled injury and death cases involving all types of motor vehicles, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice. His concentration in employment law focuses on employees' statutory rights pursuant to Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IPPEA, and the federal False Claims Act.
After graduating, with honors, in 1996 from the Washburn University School of Law, where he was a member of the Washburn Law Journal and Moot Court Honor Society, following his bachelor's degrees in Latin and ancient Greek from Dickinson College in 1991, Jason moved to Idaho and was the lobbyist for the American Civil Liberties Union of Idaho. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Idaho and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. For the past fourteen years, he has been regularly and consistently engaged in civil trial practice full-time on behalf of plaintiffs. Since founding Johnson & Monteleone, L.L.P., in 2003, he has continued a civil trial practice exclusively in the areas of employment law, including substantive and retaliation claims under the federal False Claims Act, and personal injury/wrongful death litigation, including product liability and medical malpractice. With an active trial practice, Jason has tried more than twenty civil trials to verdict and has frequently represented clients in mediations, arbitrations, and bench proceedings, including appellate work also. He has lectured at numerous continuing legal education seminars in the areas of personal injury law and employment law. Jason resides in Boise, Idaho. When not working, Jason spends as much time as possible in Idaho's mountains and rivers. Jason is currently the Treasurer for the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and sits on the Board of Directors for the American Civil Liberties Union of Idaho.
